Xenium provides an incredible scope of adjustment options and a possibility to choose additional functions.

Duo-Back backrest

The chair equipped with the Duo-Back backrest ensures long-lasting and exceptional comfort of use, since it has been designed according to the rule “the user who moves, feels good.” The unique design is based on an innovative solution, which means the backrest does not put direct pressure on vertebrae and discs, but it supports the muscles surrounding the user’s spine. Thanks to two wing-shaped elements that can move independently of each other, the backrest provides the user with ideal support in a seated position, while allowing movement in different directions at the same time.

Research shows that the Duo-Back backrest helps reduce spinal pressure up to 50% better than standard backrests. This helps prevent back disorders and is recommended by orthopaedists as support in eliminating existing ailments.

The plastic elements of the backrest and headrest are available in three colours: white, grey and black.

Mesh backrest

Transparent mesh adds a feeling of lightness, dynamism and elegance to Xenium chair, while maintaining its ergonomic properties. A huge advantage of this backrest is its ability to adapt to the natural shape of the human spine; the back pressure on the mesh is evenly distributed, giving the user maximum comfort.

Mesh and backrest frame are made of plastic and are available in three colours: white, grey and black. Backrest height adjustment is available as standard.

Mechanisms

Nowadays healthy sitting is one of the basic needs of employees. With the possibility to choose from three types of mechanism – EPRON SYNCRON PLUS, DYNAMIC PLUS or INEDITO – Xenium adjusts very flexibly to the user’s individual needs. The easy, intuitive adjustment of Xenium chairs ensures healthy sitting and greater comfort of use, in comparison to standard swivel chairs. The mechanism functions combined with seat depth adjustment in the range of 100mm make Xenium an ideal choice for both tall and short users.

DYNAMIC PLUS

The wide backrest tilt angle allows for free and dynamic sitting, which is the biggest advantage for the user’s back muscles, spine and the entire metabolic system. The DYNAMIC PLUS mechanism is characterised by a large backrest tilt range, which guarantees high sitting comfort during everyday work.

Seat

The seat is filled with one of two types of foam: cast with a thickness of 59 mm or viscoelastic. The foam cast using injection technology ensures exceptional durability and the right flexibility, which is translated into high comfort of use. The viscoelastic foam can adjust to the user’s body shape, which ensures the right support across its entire surface. Thanks to this, the pressure exerted on the human body is reduced and evenly distributed. The additional advantage of the seat is the possibility to adjust its depth in the range of 100 mm, making the chair’s dimensions easy to adapt for users with different body shapes and sizes. The side profiles of the seat can be optionally upholstered with 3D mesh.

Lumbar support and headrest

Lumbar support

In the mesh version, the user’s comfort is increased by lumbar support in the form of an upholstered cushion, the depth of which can be adjusted in the range of 20mm. With horizontal adjustment possible in the range of 25 or 30 mm, a chair with an upholstered backrest supports the lumbar region of the user, through a pneumatic mechanism or a mechanism adjusted with a knob.

Headrest

An upholstered headrest ensures comfort of work and relief of neck and shoulder muscles. Thanks to a flexible upright, the height and depth of the headrest can be adjusted easily.

Armrests

To best adjust the chair to the individual needs of its user( you should choose the right armrests. Xenium offers three types of armrests. The height-adjustable armrests (2-D) are mounted to the rear frame of the backrest, which means they rise together with the backrest (offering a double height adjustment range (2×90 mm). Thanks to the nonstandard assembly method (the armrests also tilt together with the backrest. These are recommended for managerial staff or employees who make a lot of phone calls. For employees who are in constant contact with the keyboard, 4-D armrests are the perfect choice. They are available in two versions that allow for rotating the pad 360° as well as adjusting the armrest height (up to 100mm) and its distance from the seat in the range of 80 or 90 mm. The 4-D armrests are made of black( grey or white plastic with a black or grey polyurethane pad# Depending on the version, the 4-D armrests are made of black or white plastic, while the armrest handle is powder-coated in black or made of polished aluminium. The polyurethane pad is available in black or grey.

Bases and castors

The 5-star base of the Xenium chair is made of black durable plastic or aluminium – polished or powder-coated in black. Self-braking castors can be selected depending on the floor type (hard or soft).
